Fun Friday!!

Soon I will post our holiday fun pics, but wanted to get this one in tonight. We went with a group of homeschoolers (& 1000 of our closest public school friends) to the Bass Hall today to see Peter & the Wolf presented by the Ft. Worth Symphony & the Ft. Worth Met Ballet. It was incredible! The gal who coordinated for us finagled front row seats! It was amazing - the musicians & dancers kept us all mesmerized :) Afterwards we went across the street to Barnes & Noble & enjoyed a pastry snack & chai & then upstairs to the kid's book section.

We then got a "wild hair" & went to the zoo! Great thing about a zoo membership is you can go to the zoo one hour before they close & still have fun :) Ian is exagerating (sp?) to let you know it was a little brisk outside :) Trevor was happy, but I caught him mid facial expression :) It was a fun visit b/c the animals were very frisky - the tigers were um, ya' know...."playing" read: making tiger cubs! The lion actually caught our scent, went to his highest perch & roared about 10times - seriously - amazing how loud a lion's roar is! There was NO one around us - we basically had the lions, tigers & bear sections to ourselves - oh, my! Too fun!
