Got to fly with my "little" brother last week for the first time! He has been flying for many years, but I just never had the chance to go "up into the atmosphere" with him. It was very cool! We flew around the Fair & around downtown Dallas, then down south towards Midlothian/Waxahachie & got right up under a cloud - very awesome - the air was sooo cool the higher we got - duh, I know, but still neat. We did a touchdown in a field - which was an interesting experience - just touched down - rolled a little, picked up speed & took off again. He did a few "show-off" things which made my tummy flip, but was fun. Thanks, Dave - when do we go again? :)
Ian got the first ride & had a super time - he took pictures with his camera & even used the stick to "fly" the plane - he would have stayed up the rest of the afternoon flying if he could have.
