The thing about parenting is you never know how you're doing until you're done....just ask your own parents! Mine are probably still wondering...haha!
Anyway, something we tell the boys is that they are "best friends for life." The other day Myles did something nice for Trevor & I remarked to Trevor what a nice brother he had for helping him, when Ian leaned into me & quietly said "that's not just a brother, that's a best friend for life" So sometimes the things we as parents repeat as mantras do sink in & occasionally slip out of the mouths of our "babes" :)
